Tell me one thing. All those facts and figures I saw of The Doctor’s life, you were never alone. All those bright and shining companions. But, not anymore? No.

In the books, Hermione’s boggart is failing her classes. Her greatest fear is failing her classes.
However, it goes a lot deeper than that. Subconsciously, I think she believes that if she does not do well and if she fails, they’ll kick her out of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. So her real fear isn’t failing.
At Hogwarts, she has two wonderful friends who love her, and she is getting to live in an incredible world. She doesn’t want to lose that, and she thinks that if she does bad in her classes, they won’t let her come back.
Her real fear is rejection and loss.

so what if…
when in the philosophers stone her line “we could be killed, or worse.. expelled” wasn’t her being snooty or a teachers pet..
but her saying that she would rather die than stop going to hogwarts and never see her friends again?

why

Last night I reblogged a video made by NASA that had GLaDOS from Portal teach you the difference between Fusion and Fission and I watched it again today (because its awesome and you should really watch it) and noticed this. In portal she is “Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System”

If you include the line just above the acronym that translates to GLaDOS, you’d get NOTGLaDOS. A really cute (and clever) way to bypass the copyright issues around the name.

OH! I didn’t even notice that, thats awesome! :D

I didn’t realize it at first either until I saw people mentioning NOTGLaDOS and then saw the credits and was like “….oh!” XD
Heh heh heh.

I think Valve let them do it (which makes it even better, go Valve!), because if you go to 8:47 you will see on the bottom of the screen “Thanks, Valve! Portal © Valve”

That’s definitely even better. I didn’t know about that - and that’s awesome. I’ve always had the sense Valve was a pretty cool company about this kind of thing.

They definitely let them do it!  When they’re flipping through the manual, it, rather prominently, displays the Aperture logo.
Valve is just…they are the best company.
This is just the best video.
I swear, if GLaDOS taught classes the world’s collective IQ would at least double.

ILLUMINATED CODE FROM SPACE

Bioartis Haari Tesla (behance) - "Macrocosm and microcosm is an ancient Greek Neo-Platonic schema of seeing the same patterns reproduced in all levels of the cosmos, from the largest scale (macrocosm or universe-level) all the way down to the smallest scale (microcosm or sub-sub-atomic or even metaphysical-level). In the system the midpoint is Man, who summarizes thecosmos." - I was doing some researches  and I found experiment with miniatures of space so I decided to try my own. The result has been nebulae, galaxies and supernovae transformed into microorganism.
